Abstract (EN)
Plastination; is a technique for preparing an anatomical preparation by substituting tissue liquids with a reactive polymer. Although many anatomical methods are more challenging and economically costly, they are very similar to the natural appearance of the samples, and they are endurable products that are durable and harmless to human health, making this method attractive. Our main goal is to completely eliminate carcinogenic chemicals such as formaldehyde used in a method such as plastination and to produce formaldehyde-free plastinates, each of which is produced in our country and used for testing in anatomy training. For this purpose, we aim to eliminate the formaldehyde of the sensory organs of the 10 large ruminants we obtain from the slaughterhouse by comparing the 5 formaldehyde and 5 formaldehyde-free comparative groups. It is the most commonly used of plastination techniques and is the most common silicone plastification because the samples seem esthetically impressive. Silicone plastination basically consists of 5 steps. First, the specimens were subjected to fixation and fixation-free dissection, and anatomic situs was obtained and prepared. Subsequently, at -25 ° C, the dehydration step was carried out in the acetone baths, and then under the negative pressure, a hard imregnation step with the S10-S3 chemical mixture was made. In the last stage, the final state of the S6 solution was obtained and the plastication process was completed with the drying and hardening step.
