Ca'fer el-Huldî (b. 348/959) was among the important Sufis of that period with his scientific knowledge, Sufi identity and contributions to Sufism. Huldi, who has relations with many sciences, is a Sufi who brings his scientific knowledge to his Sufi understanding in a positive way. Huldi, who was a Muhaddith Sufi, has many works that have not survived to the present day. Ca'fer, who achieved many firsts in Sufism, is the Sufi who recorded the Sufi lineage for the first time, initiated Sufi archeology, recorded the names of ascetics and Sufi scholars by telling stories about their lives, and had a collection of books. Huldi was mentioned in the sources as one of the three famous people of Baghdad with his stories. Huldi is the first-hand source that conveys the lives of Baghdad's leading figures such as Cüneyd to the next generations.
