Tez, Cahit Uçuk'un çocuklar için yazdığı yirmi bir çocuk romanının biçim ve içerik yönünden incelenmesi suretiyle oluşturulmuştur. İncelemede romanlardaki iletiler belirtilmiş ve romanların on iki yaş ve üstü çocukların seviyesine uygunluğu da değerlendirilmiştir.
