The effect of lean management on internal image in private hospital in Turkey based on the perceptions of the employees

Production in an organization or to establish a system is only possiple with the presence of human. In the past, this factor was thought as a never exhausting and constantly available resource which behaves based on market economy. Recently, it is tried to evaluate the human sources strategically to enable the organizations to sustain their activities and compete in the global market. In this process, many companies have recently adopted the Lean management method as a strategy to increase their global competition capacity for.Lean management practices are in mutual interaction with several factors in business enterprises. One of these factors is internal image. Given that particularly the health sector is one of the sectors affected the most by the relation between Lean management and internal image, the subject of the study was designated as ?The Effect of Lean Management on Internal Image in Private Hospital in Turkey Based on the Perceptions of the Employees?. The purpose of this work is ?to determine the direction and level of the relation between Lean management and internal image in the private hospitals in Turkey based on the perceptions of the employees.? The hypothesis of the study was designed as ?Lean management in Private Hospitals in Turkey is associated with internal image according to the employees? views. In order to test this hypothesis, first data were collected using questionnaire method. Data collected were evaluated in SPSS software. Consequently, linear associations were observed in various directions between Lean management and internal image factors.
