Abstract (EN)
In this study; Agar yield was investigated with freezing methot of 12 different takson Nemalion helminthoides (Velley) Batters, Gelidium spinosum (S.G. Gmelin) P.C. Silva, Gracilaria bursa-pastoris (S.G. Gmelin) P.C. Silva, Hypnea musciformis (Wulfen) J.V. Lamouroux, Phyllophora crispa (Hudson) P.S. Dixon, Peyssonniella rubra (Greville) J. Agardh, Lomentaria articulata (Hudson) Lyngbye, Ceramium Roth., Chondria dasyphylla (Woodward) C. Agardh, Palisada perforata (Bory de Saint-Vincent) K.W.Nam, Boergeseniella fruticulosa (Wulfen) Kylin, Polysiphonia morrowii Harvey collected during the 12 months between the May 2009 and April 2010 from different station of Dardanelles .According to obtaine results of agar yield from Gracilaria bursa-pastoris and Palisada perforata; this algea were used for agar production.
