Abstract (EN)
In this study, spent mushroom compost is used as a biomass sources. Fast pyrolysis experiments were carried out fixed bed reactor at a pyrolysis temperatures of 400, 500, 600, 700oC; with a heating rates of 300 and 500oC/min in nitrogen atmosphere. Max oil yield was obtained as % 34,3 at a pyrolysis temperature of 500oC and heating rate of 500oC/min. The influence of catalyst on the product yields and composition was investigated at the second stage of experiments. For this purpose, Mussel Shell, Argopecten Gıbbus Curved and commercial CaO were used as catalyst. Oil product was decreased and gas yield was increased by using catalyst. The oil products obtained by Mussel Shell was similar with that obtained by commercial CaO. Oxygenated compounds and fatty acids were decreased, while phenol and methyl phenols were increased by using catalyst. For this purpose, both Mussel Shell which is the natural and waste material, and spent mushroom compost were evaluated in suitable areas.
