Investigation of structural systems of steel information buildings

The use of materials in different design ideas in architecture has given buildings or buildings characteristic features. With these characteristic features, the interaction of people has been tried to be increased. Information buildings with many examples have come to the fore in this regard. It has been observed that the communication buildings with people are more common when compared to other buildings. For this reason, the designs of the information buildings have had remarkable features. Due to their characteristics, it is possible to use different techniques in their designs. Along with the choice of material, the information buildings should be durable and the spaces they will house should have a regular structural system. Due to its properties, steel material is preferred more in information buildings than other materials in structural systems and connection points. In this academical study titled "Investigation of steel structural systems of information buildings" In the first chapter, the aim, scope and working method of the study are explained. In the second chapter, "description, design developments", how the information buildings were created and general information about the information buildings are explained. In the third section, which is titled "Shaping the structural systems according to the design requirements of the information buildings"; The process of creating a system that will work in harmony with the structural system of a design form that will attract people's attention of information buildings has been examined. In the review process, the effect of structural systems on the design is explained. In the fourth chapter, "examination and comparison of samples"; Architectural details of information buildings around the world were examined. The examination was carried out with 10 different building samples. Examined samples were compared. In the last section, the "result" section, the structures were examined and inferences were obtained for the structural systems to be designed by using steel materials for the information buildings to be built today. In line with the inferences obtained, a project proposal with a structural system using steel material was carried out.
