Abstract (EN)
The integrated iron and steel mills are equipped with all production processes starting from iron ore to flat steel. In addition to the need for large and private settlements, such facilities require long construction time and large capital investment. In response to this disadvantage, steel mills or semi-finished steel users have adopted cold rolling applications and small diameters skin pass processes in smaller areas in the short term. In this study, it is aimed to investigate the parameters which are effective in skin pass process through numerical simulations and data analysis. The forces acting on the material during the skin pass process, stresses and strains are investigated by changing various parameters.
