Abstract (EN)
The concept of everyday life is used to express the daily practice of life that occurs and repeats continuously as a result of the mutual interaction of individuals. And when sociology of everyday life is done, it is aimed to reveal the social reality that is constantly repeated, that is ordinary, that is hidden behind the familiar life. Everything that we can interpret and understand when we wear the sociology glasses, which we don't realize in the normal course of life, gives us social data. These data are social behavior, actions, places, objects, key indicators that include signs, symbols and language, are both part of everyday life and provide squares of the culture of the living community. The purpose of this research is to reveal how the Circassian culture is built in daily life. The other objectives of the thesis, which is to find out how the Circassian culture was built in everyday life, the position of the woman who is an important subject of this building process, how they describe themselves, how they experience their sense of place, their religious interests, their social and cultural values system in everyday life practices, and how they communicate it. Based on this, qualitative research method was used in the research. Semi-structured in-depth interviews were conducted with 20 Circassian women living in Kahramanmaraş province and Kamışçık and Büyükçamurlu villages of Göksun district of Kahramanmaraş. A descriptive analysis was carried out by creating themes within the framework of the findings obtained as a result of the interview. The most basic finding of the research is that Circassian women partially continue the traditional elements of Circassian culture in daily life and these elements have undergone cultural disintegration over time.
