Abstract (EN)
In this study, It is aimed to make a retrospective study on lateral radiographs to examine the cervical part of columna vertebralis on the sagittal plane and to compare the morphometric methods used to evaluate the degree of cervical lordosis. The study included radiographs of 175 (100 female, 75 male) adult individuals who came to Osmaniye State Hospital Radiology Unit between January 2019 and December 2019 with various defaults and had their cervical sagittal graphs drawn. As a result of the study; according to the Friedman test, cervical lordosis degrees differ depending on the method measured (p<0.05). There is no gender-related difference between the mean of cervical lordosis degrees (p=0.101>0.05). There is an age-related difference between the mean of cervical lordosis degrees (p<0.05). A strong negative relationship between the cervical lordosis and the occipitocervical angle (r=-,707), a weak negative relationship between the cervical lordosis and the cervical vertical translation distance (r=-,253) and There is a moderate positive correlation between occipitocervical angle and cervical vertical translation distance (r =, 552). An increase of 1 unit in the cervical vertical translation distance causes an increase in the occipitocervical angle of about 0.60 degrees. In the light of the available data, we think that the findings we obtained in our study will benefit the understanding of columna vertebralis morphometry and contribute to the literature in the field of anatomy, radiology, cervical region surgery.
