Presentation of street children in Cibuti media

Childhood period it is the most important period of a person's life. This period, in which the child needs the most care and love, is the basis of the individual's life to form his or her own personality, because this period plays a major role in the child's success or failure. For that reason, the attitude of the media towards children, who form the basis of society, is crucial. The media's approach to the problems of children, which sets the agenda and has a public duty to solve problems, is very important. In Djibouti, street children, who live in an environment that are open to all kinds of danger and who are exposed to all physical and mental dangers, pose an important problem and a threat to the street children's growing. This study is about how Djibouti media handles this issue and it is aimed to reveal how the media approach to street children in Djibouti by examining the news of the media in this regard. With this point of view, the news in the Djibouti media has been analyzed, but as a result, it has been concluded that although it is one of the issues to deal with and discuss all the details of the phenomenon of street children, which is rapidly increasing all over the country, it does not see the necessary value in the Djiboutian media.
