Abstract (EN)
Energy efficiency, which has become increasingly important in today's technologies, has become very important in pump technology. Since pumps are the first step of the systems to be installed in general, they have a direct impact on the energy efficiency of the installed systems. Because of this, today's pump companies are paying attention to pump efficiency as much as possible. Therefore, every pump designed is tried to be designed as high as possible for that specific speed band. Each specific speed band has its own unique productivity. Therefore, when a pump is designed, the value of the pump efficiency should be interpreted by looking at the specific speed family in which the pump is located. Before the pump is manufactured it is very important to be able to predict the characteristics such as head, flow rate and system efficiency that are committed to the receiver. In this thesis, before the split case centrifugal pump was manufactured, pump characteristics were created with the Ansys Fluent and compared with the test results.
