This study evaluates the current and future energy policies of China, which has grown rapidly on a global scale, within the framework of renewable and clean energy, and examines the impact of these policies on the country's economy and foreign policy. First of all, environmentally friendly energy policies are conceptually evaluated within the framework of renewable and clean energy in the study. In the continuation of the study, China's energy policy is examined within the scope of energy supply security, and the share of environmentally friendly energy resources in China's total energy production and consumption is analyzed. In the continuation, the development of China's environmentally friendly energy policies, international cooperation, and energy development strategy are evaluated in the context of the contribution of energy sectors to the country's economy at this point. The study reveals that China will maintain its position as a world leader in renewable energy with its current policies and will achieve its goals of eliminating its carbon footprint by 2060.
