A series of painting suggessions on the reflections of memories and images related to childhood on painting

In this study I aim to reveal the past and memories in art, especially the effect of childhood period, through the paintings painted. The paintings formed played an important role in determining the content of the thesis.As art is a subjective attitude, experience is among the things that may lead to subjectivity. There are different periods of a person and these are entitled under various categories. Childhood period may be an example. The chidhood period was analysed and the concepts such as family, school, games,memory which are mostly linked with this period were handled and they were tried to be depicted with the help of subjective experience. Because the subjects which form the paintings belong to subjective experience of childhood period, in the composition of this study which describe childhood period, subjective depictions were used .The depictions show the common feelings in the paintings and writing. In drawing, there have been some artists who use memoirs and images belonging to childhood. Image and subjectivity in art is the way by which the artist expresses himself. While the images in the drawings within the scope of the thesis were being handled, a subjective manner was also tried to be introduced In conclusion, As the images belonging to past are handled today, they are like bridges by way of art between past and today. The collections of past `me? and today `me? emerge with pictorial perspective.
