Abstract (EN)

This research has been carried out in order to present the attitudes of teachers about the ways of measurement and evaluation based on process, which geography lesson teaching programme sets forthBecause it was aimed to ascertain an existent situation, descriptive analysis technique was used in this research. Secondary school geography teachers in Ankara formed the research universe, 159 geography teachers who were casually chosen by the way of simple casual sample election formed the samples.As a way of data collection, approach scale based on process ways of measurement and evaluation which was prepared and security and acceptability studies was made by the researcher, was used.According to the findings of the research; for the process ways of measurement and evaluation women teachers to men teachers,teachers with in-service training to teachers without in-service training,teachers graduated from Science-Education Faculties to teachers graduated from Education Faculties have more positive attitudes.But it was stated that teachers' ages,seniority, working at private or state schools and number of lessons doesn't effect their attitudes to the process of measurement and evaluation.Key words:process ways of measurement and evaluation, traditional ways of measurement and evaluation,attitude,geography lesson
