Abstract (EN)
In this study, it was aimed to optimize the annual total energy produced by operating the Aslantaş Dam, Berke Dam and Sır Dam, which were constructed consecutively in Ceyhan Basin, with a multiple reservoir system approach. For this purpose, the simulation method that allows to examine the behavior of the system was preferred and the generalized simulation program (HEC-ResSim) was used. Operating rules have been determined for the maximum energy that dams can generate at present. The behavior of the system is examined by taking into account the annual total energy produced as a result of the simulation performed in line with the determined rules. As a result of the study, the annual total energy of the three-dam system is optimized.
