Abstract (EN)
Anatolian land is one of the most active seismically active regions in the world. Earthquakes occur continuously at many different points of the geography at very close intervals. This situation revealed the necessity of examining the construction quality of the existing buildings as well as the construction quality of the newly constructed buildings. Within the concept of the herein thesis study; The feasibility of the construction quality control in question was investigated not only on material strengths but also on dynamic behavior parameters for reinforced concrete structures. In the research, being the subject of the thesis; the study has been carried out on two reinforced concrete structures built as a lodging building over the type project. Non-destructive material strength tests have been carried out for two newly completed multi-storey reinforced concrete structures, the finite element models have been developed and dynamic characteristics of the structures have been obtained experimentally with the operational modal analysis method. The experimetally defined in-situ dynamic behavior parameters were compared for the two structures and inferences were made in terms of manufacturing quality in the field. The developed finite element model was calibrated by taking into account the experimental modal analysis results and the period value calculated on this model was compared with the data presented in the static project report. It was concluded that the building dominant period produced in the field is 40% lower than the value calculated in the static project and that the operational modal analysis application can be evaluated as a construction quality control method in reinforced concrete frame type buildings.
