Abstract (EN)
In this master thesis, after giving information about non-linear behavior of structural systems, performance concept, performance evaluation methods and design procedure for steel frame structures, it has been applied on steel-framed building systemBased on this knowledge, a 9-storey steel frame structure was designed in accordance with DBYBHY 07. In design procedure, building system was selected high ductility level. Life safety of performance level specified under severe earthquakes in DBYBHY 07 was investigated by Capacity Spectrum Method and Displacement Coefficient Method.
