Abstract (EN)

In this study which is aimed at determining the reflections of multinationality fact in Turkey scale, the performances of the firms which operates as an international joint venture (IJV) with one partner being a MNC and the domestic firms in Turkey have been compared. As the statistical technique in comparative approach Independent samples t test is used. Then in the models proposed in order to determine the impacts of MNC?s roles on IJV?s high performance, Generalized Least Square Method, one of the econometric techniques, have been employed and the model specifications have been performed by SUR method. By the comparative approach utilized in the application part of the study, it is stated that the performance indicators of foreign firms are higher than the domestics and the difference is statistically significant. Then as a result of the control approach analysis it is determined that the multinationality and firm performance relationship is Standart-U shape. Explaining the mentioned relationship by the non-linear modeling is found out to be more realistic and then the theoretical framework of the Standart-U shape has been constructed in the Organizational Learning Approach perspective.
