Abstract (EN)
Video Steganography is one of the crucial strategies for concealing user information in secure way. Nowadays, the use of video files and their transmission on internet has increased tremendously. There exist many methods for information hiding in video. Video Steganography is a method to hide different file types into a video file. The steganography algorithm consists of mainly two parts: message embedding process in the video sequence and the second part is the extraction of message from the stego video. It is essential to develop an effective embedding procedure to select suitable pixels in the video outlines to store the hide information. In this thesis, a brief analysis of two different methodologies for information embedding and for extracting embedded information in a video files having an outstanding quality is presented. In these methods, information encryption processes are based on least significant bit (LSB) procedure. The first improved LSB image steganography approach utilizes Bit-Inverse in 24 Bit color image, and the second LSB image steganography procedure utilizes RGB color components and image patterns are compacted using weighted principal elements. The efficiency and comparison of these two methods are realized using Peak-to-Signal Noise Ratio (PSNR), Mean Square Error (MSE) metrics and also histogram examination demonstrates the frequency distribution on the color videos. Our proposed steganography procedure tries to enhance payload capacity of image steganography and give greater security to the stego video through utilizing the RGB pixel element.
