Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to examine the effectiveness of measures taken against the spread of COVID-19 in the reduction of infectious diseases within a scientific framework. Therefore, this study adresses the preventive measures, improving the health conditions and the function of changing the global health culture for limiting the spread of other infectious diseases. The changing lifestyles of people since the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic were analyzed and the role of personal hygiene, healthy nutrition, regular checking of vitamin and mineral levels in the body, observance of social distancing rules, etc. In the reduction of infectious diseases was statistically assessed through the data from the department of Biological Statistics at the Wasit Health Directorate. In addition to these, preventive measures taken as a result of health education by doctors, international organizations, social media and television channels have been shown to be one of the first and the most influential factors in changing the number of cases.
