Abstract (EN)

Al-Aqsa Mosque, Bayt al-Maqdis, and the destiny of Palestine have all become central topics in the Deal of the Century. For the future of this land including al-Aqsa Mosque as a whole, this territory is presented with a unilateral projection that is intertwined not only with the changes in the spheres of politics and international relations but also with the historical and religious past. This research is based on findings on the projections of Christian Zionists for the future of Al-Aqsa Mosque as outlined in the Deal of the Century. Firstly, as a consequence of assessments and reviews, it is concluded that the Deal proposes a major change in the status quo of Al-Aqsa Mosque by suggesting that the Mosque should be allocated only to Jews and Christians on holidays special to Jews and Christians, as begun to be done. Second, the plan gives the Jews exclusive use of the eastern side of Al-Aqsa Mosque, which indirectly intends to extend the temporal division in the Mosque into the dimension of spatial division, as it was done in the partition of the Ibrahim Mosque in Hebron. The third phase involves Christian and Jewish Zionists alliance to have a Jewish Temple constructed on the current location of Al-Aqsa Mosque. Research on the influence of Christian Zionism in American politics has revealed that in their anticipation of Christ's second coming, Christian Evangelicals, particularly in the United States, have made this claim. In addition to the fact that the entire area of al-Aqsa Mosque is included in the target of the Jewish Temple plan, in accordance with the idea that Jesus Christ would enter from here, there is also a proposal to open the Babu'r-Rahma Gate, which is now one of the sealed gates of the Mosque. As a result, the Deal of the Century proposes the division of space and the sharing of the Aqsa Mosque as a starting point that is in line with the Evangelical plans, the successful completion of which will be the construction of a Jewish Temple to hasten the return of Jesus and the arrival of the Apocalypse. This is an endeavor in which Christian Zionists want to alter the global order by bringing about their long-held desire for a global war, often known as the War of Armageddon, by means of a Jewish Zionist state that would advance Western interests in the Holy Land and the broader Middle East.
