Analysing of intaglio and collagraph techniques

Although there is not a long history in print arts, Intaglio has acquired a wide range of self today. It is developing and has a wealth of technical possibilities that continue to make it creative. The Collagraph technique is being evaluated in Intaglio and it offers a different exposition possibility to the artist. The artist who wants to develop a unique form of expression will reach a desired plastic value by applying these techniques. In the study, it briefly mentioned the history of Print Arts and examined in detail the materials used. The traditionally and modern techniques of intaglio which are used all over the world are described in the study. It also gives extensive information about Collagraph which is quite a new technique. This research is a resource for all artists who want to apply intaglio and Collagraph techniques and also contains basic information for new techniques that will be developed.
