Abstract (EN)

This research study was carried out in the Field Crops Deparment of Agriculture Faculty of Çukurova University, in the 2019-2020 growing season. For this experiment, Randomized Split plot design with four replications was conducted. In the study; two different triticale cultivars (Tacettinbey and Ege Yıldızı) were used. The effects of different sowing densities (300, 400, 500, 600, 700 and 800 seed/m2) on these cultivars in terms of the number of plants per m2, the number of stems per m2, the number of spikes per m2, plant height, spike length, the number of spikelet per spike, the number of grains per spike, grain weight per spike, thousand grain weight, hectoliter weight, protein ratio and grain yield were investigated. When examined in terms of cultivars; Higher grain yield was obtained from Tacettinbey cultivar compared to Ege Yıldızı cultivar. When examined in terms of sowing densities; As the sowing density increases, the number of sowing plants per m2, the number of stems per m2, the number of spikes per m2, hectoliter weight and grain yield increase; plant height, spike length, spikelet number per spike, grain number per spike, grain weight per spike, thousand grain weight decreased and protein ratio did not change.
