Abstract (EN)
When the loads of steel structural elements are examined, it is seen that they can be subjected to the effects of static character and dynamic character loads. Static loads can be defined as loads spread over time. It is possible to define dynamic loads as instantaneous loads. Materials that exhibit high strength under static loads can suddenly break when subjected to dynamic loading with a speed (or acceleration). From this point of view, it can be stated that a structural element should be analyzed under both static and dynamic character loads. For every structural element, ductility, which can be expressed as a tendency to change shape, is an important feature. The area under the ductility curve for building elements gives energy damping capacity under load effects. For example toughness. Since dynamic and static loads have different character loads, their deformation capacities under the influence of these loads, and therefore the energy damping levels, will be different. There are different methods for measuring dynamic toughness. One of these methods is the weight reduction method. In this study, as a structural element, the behavior of a steel beam under the effect of the dynamic impact load was examined experimentally, and the finite element model of the structural element was formed and the experimental results were implemented by the finite element analysis.
