Abstract (EN)
Financial decisions made by individuals are not always rational. While trying to explain the irrational financial decisions taken by individuals, the subject of "Behavioral Finance" has begun to be researched. In behavioral finance, investor decisions are affected by irrational situations. In this research, the emergence of behavioral finance, the irrational decisions of investors, the factors affecting the decisions of investors within the framework of behavioral finance and the issue of stocks from investment instruments are explained. Finally, behavioral tendencies of individual investors living in Izmir during the financial decision process were evaluated with the help of a questionnaire.
