Abstract (EN)

The electric drive systems used In Industrial applications are increasingly required tomeet higher performance and reliability requirements. The DC motor is an attractivepiece of equipment in many Industrial applications requiring variable speed and loadcharacteristics due to its ease of controllability. Microcontrollers provide a suitablemeans of meeting these needs. Certainly, part of the recent activity onmicrocontrollers can be ascribed to their newness and challenge. in this thesis ,Implementation of the PIC16F877A microcontroller for speed control of DC motor. The DC motor is driven by a high frequency PWM signal. Controlling the PWMduty cycle is equivalent to controlling the motor terminal voltage, which In turnadjust directly the motor speed. Experimental results have been obtained that showthe employment of microcontroller for DC motor speed control after upload specialcode that has been programmed by using Mikro C inside in it.
