Reengineering and an aplication in a ready-wear garment company

There are rapid changes in the business world. In order to survive, the companies must evolve parallel to the changes. Re-engineering method is one of the newest and the most effective methods of management development applied to catch up with these changes. The scope of this study is to investigate the applicability of this method in ready-wear garment sector. The definition of re-engineering, application techniques and studies for different sectors have been indicated in the first part of this study. The applications steps of the method in a ready-wear garment company specialized on home clothing (bathrobe, night dress, etc.) have been indicated in the second part, and the results of the mentioned application have been indicated in the third part.
