Abstract (EN)

Just as the new technologic developments are taking the place the earlier systems in every aspect of daily life, in air conditioning field also the new systems are replacing the conventional and obsolete ones. Current central air conditioning systems are improving and adapting in a parallel manner towards new developments and technologies. Variable refrigerant flow systems (VRF or VRV) an alternative to the conventional central air conditioning systems. In this study VRF systems and its components has been studied by using exergy analysis method. In performance evaluation, thermodynamic parameters such as exergy efficiency, exergy indexes, exergetic improvement potential have been used. During performance evaluation, thermodynamic parameters such as exergy efficiencies, specific exergy currency indexes, exergetic enhancement potential have been used. At the end of the study, it was established that condenser has most irreversibilities and enhancement potential values. The experiments that have been conducted under different contiditions have resulted with a spectrum of 3,3 and 3,7 of coefficient of performance, and the exergy efficiency rate has been established in between 82-89%.
