Abstract (EN)

In this study, driving dynamics models of 8x8 armored military vehicles were created and the effects of certain parameters on vehicle dynamics were investigated with various simulations. Multi-body dynamics model of the vehicle was created by modeling and combining 6 subsystems with MSC Adams/Car commercial software. During the modeling, double wishbone independent suspension system with specific vehicle geometry, weight, center of gravity, inertia information, wheelbase, track width and kinematic points has been accepted as design criterion. The kinematic points of the three axle steering system of the vehicle were determined by the experimental design approach and the design process was revealed. As a result of various simulations, the effect of mechanical spring and shock absorber parameters on the vehicle was also examined.
