Abstract (EN)
The aim of the study is to examine the relationship between affective neuroscience personality profiles and psychological resilience. This study is conducted in the psychiatry outpatient clinic of Akdeniz University Hospital and it is a cross-sectional study. The study included 75 volunteer patients who were diagnosed with major depression according to DSM-5 diagnostic criteria, who were in remission for at least 3 months, who had no additional psychiatric or neurological diagnoses, who were between the ages of 18-65, literate, and volunteered to participate in the study. According to DSM-5 diagnostic criteria, 75 healthy volunteers who did not have a psychiatric or neurological disease diagnosis at the time of inclusion were included in the study. The Affective Neuroscience Personality Scale, the Resilience Scale for Adults, and the sociodemographic data form prepared by the researchers were used to collect the research data. As a result of the research, it was found that the level of psychological resilience was predicted by the Sadness and Care personality profiles. As the Care scores increase and the Sadness scores decrease, resilience increases. In addition, it was found that the Game and Spirituality systems had positive relationships with the sub-dimensions of resilience. People with high Fear and Anger profiles were found to have low resilience sub-dimensions. These results are consistent with the view that personality traits affect psychological resilience, which is accepted in the literature. Further studies are needed on this subject to better understand, define and develop psychological resilience.
