Our results indicated that the rate of general psychiatric comorbidity, mood disorders, anxiety disorders and adjustment disorder were significantly higher in study population than the control population (For psychiatric comorbidity p=0.0001, for mood disorders p=0.001, for anxiety disorders p=0.001, for adjustment disorder p=0.0001). CDI, STAI 73 1 and STAI-2, SDQ and subscales scores were significantly higher than control group. (For CDI p=0.0001, for STAI-1 ve STAI-2 p=0.0001). Also psychiatric comorbidity higher in inflammation dermatoses and allergic dermatoses than the other dermatological sub groups (For inflammation dermatoses p=0.016, for allergic dermatoses p=0.037). A dermatological disease means that restricts physical activity increased risk for psychiatric comorbidity (p=0.009). Conclusion: A need for collaboration between primary care, psychiatry, and dermatology disciplines in handling patients with psychocutaneous conditions is widely accepted. İnvestigating the knowledge, attitudes, and awareness of dermatologists about psychocutaneous disorders might contribute to the development of new educational strategies and elicit qualified biopsychosocial approaches.
