Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, a power circulating research rig is designed to measure the gear transmission error under controllable conditions. The rig consists of two gearboxes, test and slave gearboxes. Static torque is locked into the system via split couplings. Power which mainly compensates for the losses in the system and overcoming the inertial resistance is supplied to the system by a variable speed electric motor. All design calculations and drawings of machine elements, which are used in the system, such as: test gears, shafts, bearings, torsion rods, couplings and others, are made by using computer. Rotary optical encoders which can operate at high speed and have high resolutions are used to measure transmission error. Key words: gear test rig design, gear transmission error, transmission error measurement, gearbox design
