Abstract (EN)
In this study, the relationship between branding process and public relations was tried to be examined through Beypazarı destination in terms of "Local Scale Tourism Plan-Policy Principles" determined by the European Union, and it was tried to present the effect of public relations in the process of destination branding. In the study, semi-structured interview technique, which is one of the data gathering methods, was used in qualitative researches. As a result of the interviews conducted in the Beypazarı destination, answers were sought to the questions which were determined for the purpose of the study. The study have been prepared in accordance with the theoretical framework of brand, destination, destination branding and public relations, and Beypazarı branding process has been tried to be associated with the theoretical information. With these associations and the interviews carried out, it was tried to present the feasible suggestions whether Beypazarı model can be an example or not for other destinations with similar characteristics.
