Abstract (EN)

In this project, based on human perception and interpretation of human movement, Project improved with the help of image processing libraries, yielding a project fulfilling the exercise detection and counting functions. In our project, patients are people who exercise in the gym and rehabilitation centers in our target audience. When we observe the movement of people; The perception of movement and to interpret our body need to choose the right reference points. The crucial points for tracking and counting human arm motion are hand-wrist, arm-elbow, and arm-shoulder points, whereas during leg motion ankle-knee, knee-waist, and waistankle points are critical. These body junction points get different angle values during exercise. By tracking the angle variations at these points and marking them with a distinctive volor, the motion can be detected and statistical data for the detected exercise action can be calculated.
