Abstract (EN)
This study has been conducted to research the nutritional condition of cucumber plants that are grown as spring cucumber plant in the greenhouses of Gazipaşa, Antalya with soil, leaves and fruit analysis. For this aim 11 pieces of Melen type and 11 pieces of Dörtel type plant with a total number of 22 have been identified and leaves and fruit and soil (0-20 cm and 20-40 cm of depth) samples were taken from them respectively. In soil samples of both depths texture, CaCO3, organic matter, EC, pH, N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Na, Fe, Mn, Zn and Cu in leaf and fruit samples N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Na, Fe, Mn, Zn ve Cu substances have been found. As a result of physical and chemical analysis of soil samples, the soil has been found to have clay, clay loam, sandy clayed structure, neutral pH and light alkaline, organic matter has been found to most of its have humus and little humus and it is also found to have calcic. Nevertheless the soil has been found not to have any salt issues. When macro element contents of the soil taken into consideration The total N and Ca content are found to be adequate in both depths (0-20 and 20-40cm); K P, and Mg contents have been found to be at a low level. Also most of its Na content has been found to be at an average level. When micro element contents taken into consideration; Fe content has been found to be at a level that might lack depth . And the soil has been found to have adequate in regards to Mn, Cu and Zn. When the plants' leaves analysis have been studied, it can be seen that macro element contents like Ca and N seem to be fine, Mg, P and K substances have been found to have deficiencies in general and additinaly Na has been found to be low. In respect to micro element contents while Cu and Mn are adequate some deficiencies have been observed in substances of Fe and Zn. In fruit analysis total N, P, Ca, Mg, Fe, Zn, Mn and Cu values have been determined. But it could not be evaluated because there are no limits for fruit analysis. In conclusion, leaves and fruit mineral contents of species mineral contents of 22 different greenhouses have been identified. Same species that have been grown in different greenhouse conditions are found to have different leaves and fruit content. This result shows that different greenhouse conditions can lead to varied yields. While choosing varieties growers should know the conditions of their greenhouses and plants' features, learn practices that should be done in accordance with the needs of varieties or the growers should pick vegetable seeds that are suitable for the conditions of their greenhouses. These results are thought to have a profound impact in terms of the country's economy.
