Determination of Serum Lxa4 and Serum Pct levels in patients with psoriasis vulgaris and their relationship with disease intensity

Psoriais vulgaris is, right along with it's physiological influences it also causes psychologically negative effect on sick people, important public health problem which inflammatory and also admitted as systematic lately. Because of the disease's inflammatory and not recover properly, made think people more forceful anti-inflammatories may helpfully as treatment modality. This anti-flammatories which are in the pipeline in the same time endogeny foresighted not only treatment but also can be use as diagnosis so this study started. The purpose of this study; in patient and control group, determine PCT and LXA4 levels in blood serum and examine values between disease activity. 40 Patient and 40 healthy people who has psoriasis vulgaris diagnosis with as control group who have similar characteristic from age and sexualtiy be included to study. Serum LXA4 and serum PCT's level measurement is carried out by using "Human Lipoxin A4 ELISA Kit" and "Human PCT ELISA Kit". People who are in Patient and Control group's age and sexuality is recorded during bloodletting. In group of Patient also recorded disease activity(heaviness). As a result: There is no significant difference between two groups, patient and control, in serum LXA4 and serum PCT levels and disease activity with serum LXA4 and PCT8 values (p>0,05). This situation is showed that PCT and LXA4's do not increase significant in every disease which inflammatory develops, this mediators do not useful for psoriasis vulgaris diagnose or treatment, may significant increase specifically on another inflammatory diase.
