Abstract (EN)
With rapid development of communication systems and increase in the electromagnetic pollution, antenna arrays and spatial filtering have gained a greater popularity. In this work, a differential evolution algorithm based method which can be used for spatial filtering in planar antenna arrays, and a differential evolution algorithm based array thinning method is presented. Several simulations are made for both methods and it is shown that both methods give successful results. Key Words : Planar antenna arrays, Pattern nulling, Spatial filtering, Differential evolution algorithm
