Abstract (EN)
In this study the digestive system content of totaly 173 Carrasobarbus luteus (Heckel,1843) caught from Atatürk Dam Lake have been examined between April 2011-March 2012 In the content of Carrasobarbus luteus digestive system (Heckel,1843), Bacillariophyta (29 genus), Chlorophyta (6 genus), Dinophyta (1 genus) belong to plants and Rotifera (7 genus), Cladocera (6 genus), Copepoda (2 genus), Diptera (1genus) belong to animals have been found. In totaly 173 C. luteus samples, only plant species were found in 68.2%, both plant and animal species were recorded in 31.79%. No digestive content was recorded with only animal species. The monthly, seasonal and annual distribution of the organisms were examined by using numerical method, frequency of occurence method and Geometric Index of Importance (GII) method. Cymbella affinis were the most recorded species.
