Abstract (EN)

With the development of technology, the digitalization in the banking sector and the change in customer behaviour in parallel have also brought competition. While the traditional banking model was preferred with the influence of customer behaviours until recently, the fact that the Y generation is in business life and the Z generation prefers the internet environment has made it inevitable for digital banking applications to be implemented. With the increase in the pace of development of financial technologies, Digital Banking applications offer innovative solutions to respond to the changing needs of new generation customers and to provide more customer-oriented services. Digital Banking Applications make a difference compared to traditional banks in terms of services and customer experiences. In this context, digital customer experiences, fast transaction times, use of new technology, personalized services, data security and integrated financial experience factors play a major role in customer satisfaction and customer acquisition. The legal framework applied in the world in the field of digital banking is determined by the financial regulatory authorities of different countries. Many countries have developed regulations governing issues such as licensing, auditing, data privacy, customer protection and risk management. These legal frameworks are implemented to regulate the activities of digital banks, ensure financial stability and protect the security of customers.
