Abstract (EN)
When the operating conditions of today's technological products are examined, vibration effects on the lifecycle of system elements have been the subject of many research and articles. Although the vibration dampers are used in many designs for increasing the product lifecycle by reducing the frequencies of the incoming vibrations by a certain amount, the vibrations acting on the system elements linearly bring about the breaking due to fatigue in the material after a certain cycle. Within the scope of this study, the lifetime calculation of the LCD, which is used in combi boilers and provides communication between the device and the end user, has been made under dynamic loads. Determining the vibration affects on LCD according to the ambient conditions in the calculation is very important for giving more realistic results. Therefore, to determine the dynamic behavior of the system element, the vibrations that occur during transport have been recorded experimentally. However, the length of the initial crack detected under the microscope was also determined. With the experimental data obtained, the acceleration-stress transformation equations were obtained, and lifecycle was calculated analytically to see the lifecycle of the material till plastic deformation. After the numerical simulation of the system was made and the values found were confirmed with analytical data, numerical simulations were repeated with an alternative glass, and it was found in which cycle the system element reached plastic deformation under the same dynamic loads. It has been revealed how much improvement was achieved with alternative materials with existing product transport conditions.
