Abstract (EN)

This study basicly consists of a vocabulary o% the secular Uighur texts written 8th and the 14th centuries. The present work contains explanations on lexicon and a small comparative glossary which are based essentially on the Chagatai group (New Uighur, Özbek) and South Siberian group (Tuva, Khakas, Altay and Yakut) of Turkic Languages. The criterion used for the classification of these languages is based on their affinity with Old Uighur. As a result, it is determined that the Arabic and Persian loanwords appearing in the old secular Uighur texts, are still alive in Turkish, Modern Uighur and Uzbekh; however, in the other Turkic languages these loanwords were substituted for the Mongolian and Chinese loanwords. Furthermore, it has been noted that the Old Uighur words, though with some phonetical changes, are mostly found in Turkish, but on the other hand the same words have the lowest frequency in Yakut.
