Abstract (EN)

In this research, the aim is to examine the literary texts in Diyanet Child magazine in the context of intangible cultural heritage elements. Within the scope of the research, 540 literary texts in the Diyanet Child magazine between 2017-2020 were identified; Among these texts, 387 literary texts from comics, short stories, biographies, tales and travel writings were examined. The intangible cultural heritage elements in these texts were analyzed by descriptive analysis method. Of the literary genres that are the subject of the research, comics, short stories, biographies, travel writings and tales have been identified the most. When these genres are examined in the context of intangible cultural heritage, the heritage of "oral traditions and expressions" has been detected the most. In the second, third and fourth places, the heritages of "knowledge and practices related to nature and the universe", "social practices, rituals and feasts" and "handcraft tradition" have been detected the most respectively. "Performing arts" heritage has been identified the least, and it has been observed that the heritage of "living human treasures/masters of tradition" is not included at all. Based on the results of the research; suggestions were made to increase the number of tales, travel writings and biographies in particular, to include causeries, fables, epics and legends from literary genres suitable for the target audience of the magazine, and to enrich the intangible cultural heritage elements in the texts. Keywords: Diyanet child magazines, litarery genres, intangible cultural heritage.
