Abstract (EN)

This thesis examines the social and cultural issues such as conflicts, migration, real estate, atrocities that the Muslim community living in Dobrudja and continuing its existence in this region since the migration of Sarı Saltuk between 1913 and 1918, as well as the situations related to the struggles for sovereignty in the Dobrudja lands between Romania and Bulgaria and the struggles regarding the Dobrudja Issue, as reflected in the press. While most of these disputes resulted in migration from Dobrudja to Turkey, a certain part of the disputes could not be resolved. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the documents related to the problems experienced in the Dobrudja region between 1913 and 1918 and to interpret and interpret the documents reflecting the migrations, disappearances, persecutions, property and title deed problems in the region and the inability to share Dobrudja between the states and to reach a conclusion. In this process, all objective and subjective points related to the process covered in the thesis have been tried to be explained especially in the light of the documents of the Ottoman Archive, supported by research works. As a result, it is understood that the Dobrudja Region was constantly in a dynamic structure in social and political terms as reflected in the documents. As a result, it is aimed to reflect the atmosphere of the period by addressing the problems that arose with the living of different ethnic and religious masses in these lands, which have belonged to the borders of different states since the past.
