Abstract (EN)

The history and geography of the Eastern Mediterranean region has a great strategic importance for Turkish Foreign Policy. From the past to the present, Turkey has close ties with the communities living in the interior of Libya. These close relations enable Turkey to maintain its power in the region. With the discovery of natural resources, communities close to the region have begun to take advantage of themselves. Along with the developments, Libya is one of the countries that have a coast to the region. Violation of Libya's rights in the maritime law as a result of experiencing and emerging problems in Libya and what kind of policy Turkey will follow as a result of the developments are the main issues to be discussed in the study. In the study, Turkey's policies towards the Eastern Mediterranean and Libya will be discussed. The aim of this study is to determine Turkey's Eastern Mediterranean policies and to examine the impressions of Turkish Foreign Policy and the axis changes to be experienced. Keywords: Mediterranean Policies, Eastern Mediterranean, Turkish Foreign Policy
