ABSTRACT Bırth Of Actıon Started And Labour Start Those Who Planned Cesarean Postpartum Breastfeedıng And Mother-Infant Bondıng Comparıson Of Levels Aim: This study was conducted to compare postpartum breastfeeding and maternal-infant attachment levels of planned cesarean births that started and did not start. Material and Method: This comparative-descriptive study was carried out between March-August 2017 at İnönü University Turgut Özal Medical Center and Malatya Education and Research Hospital Beydağı Campus, Obstetrics and Gynecology Department. The sample of the study consisted of 180 women who had a cesarean section plan and spontaneous births and 180 women who planned to receive a cesarean section before birth. "Personal Presentation Form", "LATCH Breastfeeding Diagnostic Scale" and "Maternal Attachment Scale (MBQ)" were used to collect the data. Statistical evaluation; ratios, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, chi-square test, independent t test, Mann-Whitney U test and pearson correlation analysis were used. Results: In the planned cesarean group that started the labor, the mean total score of the BDI was 97.08 ± 7.54, the mean of the total score of LATCH was 9.34 ± 1.13, and in these groups, in the planned caesarean group, 72.97 ± 10.20 and 6.96 ± 1.12, respectively, and the mean of total scores was found to be significantly higher (p <0.001) in the group that started labor. It was determined that the obtained data were statistically significant differences between the groups in terms of the data about the first breastfeeding time, the first 24 hours of feeding, the development of jaundice in the infant and the development of jaundice in terms of the data about breastfeeding story (p <0.05) . Conclusion: In the planned cesarean group that started labor, it was determined that breastfeeding and mother-infant attachment level and breastfeeding and only breastfeeding rate were significantly higher and jaundice development rate was significantly lower in the first half hour. Keywords: Starting with labor, not starting labor, planned cesarean, postpartum breastfeeding, mother-baby connection.
