While pregnant women in the intervention groups received endorphin massage in addition to routine midwifery care, only routine midwifery care was provided to the pregnant women in the control groups. The post-application VAS values of the women in the experimental group were lower than the post-application VAS values of the women in the control group (p<0.01). It was determined that the satisfaction levels of the women in the experimental group were higher after the application and that the women in the experimental group were satisfied with the endorphin massage. They declared that the massage was effective in reducing labor pain and that they could recommend it to other women. In conclusion; It was determined that the average pain level of pregnant women in the massage group was lower compared to the control group. It was found that satisfaction was achieved in pregnant women who received endorphin massage and that it was effective in recommending the massage to other pregnant women. Endorphin massage is a non-pharmacological method that can be safely applied by midwives during labor.
