Female employees who percepts to work with transactional leaders had more motivation levels with transformational leaders than the male workers. On the other hand male workers tangible contingent reward perception is more powerful than the women workers no matter what the leader type is. In the same way, passive management by exception perception motivates women workers more than male workers under transformational leadership attitude. The preferred perception of male workers between 50-59 years of age was found as transactional leadership. When percepted to work with transformational leader, there is an effect of age on intellectual stimulation. When perceived to work with transactional leader, there is no different rate of intellectual stimulation effect was found.İt was also found that the run time of employees influence the capacity to be motivated by the leader type they perceive. On the other hand under the behaviour of transformational leadership, the perception of workers on active management by exception showed different levels of motivation attitude but this significance disappeared under the transactional leadership attitude. Key words: Transformational Leadership, Transactional Leadership, Intrinsic Motivation, Extrinsic Motivation.
