The issue of unambiguous identification of the user and his device on the Internet is a very important and addressed topic today. The reasons are mainly prevention against an increasing number of different types of attacks, but also the localization and adaptation of content to a specific type of user. This implies the need to recognize and identify the users who interact with the application. There are several different approaches to identification, from network layer IP address mapping to application management of user accounts. However, each of them has its advantages and disadvantages. The aim of this work is to create a unique identifier based on information available mainly from HTTP or TCP protocol. However, before building the algorithm itself, it is important to describe some key areas and procedures. The following paragraphs of the introduction will therefore briefly deal with the operation of client-server applications and the architecture of the work domain.
