Abstract (EN)

In this study, determination and seasonal distribution of Düzağaç-Akdeğirmen Dam Lake Chironomidae fauna was investigated between August 2014 and May 2015. During the study period, Chironomidae specimens were collected from 5 determined stations and also some physical and chemical properties of water such as temperature, conductivity, pH, Fe, Cl, SO4, Ca, Mn, Mg, NO3, NO2, NH4. 2 genus and 6 species were determined in the study; the distribution and individual number per m2 of species were also described. Thus, Micropsectra notescens, were determined at all 5 stations and appeared to be the widest distributed species in the study area. Respectively, Tanypus sp., Polypedilum nubeculosum, Cryptotendipes holsatus, Chironomus (Camptochironomus) tentans, Cryptochironomus defectus, Cardiocladius sp. and Tanypus punctipenn is follow it. Moreover, the highest population density in the study area were determined at station 5 on November and Micropsectra notescens was found to form the maximum species density of this population.
